Novel Sensors Development

Our lab also work on various projects such as micro- and nanofabrication, smartphone spectrometer, gas sensor, PPG sensor, etc.

Gas Sensor

Hydrogen (H2) is one of the most promising alternative energy sources for replacing fossil fuels. However, hydrogen is highly flammable, so the development of hydrogen sensors is very important. The GMR hydrogen sensor resulted in resonant wavelength shift of 6 nm and increase of transmission efficiency by 41% in 24 seconds when 4% hydrogen and 96% argon were injected.
